Hear our team give a description and update on the University of Queensland’s (UQ) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Design Principles project in this video.
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Design Principles Project is an important new project which aims to address some of UQ’s Reconciliation Action Plan goals - one of which is to Incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander values and spaces in the physical and built environment.
The Project outputs will guide the development of intercultural design excellence across the University’s physical estate, resulting in principles, guidelines, and a handbook for architects and designers to foster inclusive and celebratory places that welcome, engage, and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities within UQ and the broader community.
