On the first of September, the Purpose Built exhibition opened at the State Library of Queensland. Purpose Built is an immersive exhibition of four projects, including Gununa Futures, from The University of Queensland’s School of Architecture, Design and Planning.

Our work with the Gununa community is exhibited in a series of video interviews with young people about the town design and adult residents about housing. Drawings by young people from 2023 and 1972 explain what the design of housing and town means to them. It was wonderful to have VIP guests from Mornington Island travel to attend the opening with us!
